For as long as anyone can remember, a small but loyal group of musicians from all walks of life have been secretly meeting once a month at a remote, undisclosed location somewhere in Suffolk County. These talented performers gather together to swap songs, to try out new material, to stretch out on their instruments and to get inspired by the musical camaraderie that they share.
You might hear a touching ballad, a roots rocker, a '60s obscurity brought back to life. Or it could be an old cowboy song, a classic rock staple, a Motown hit, a folk favorite. The songs fly by quickly, often haphazardly and as you might expect, not without the occasional train wreck!
You might even recognize a few of the folks lurking in the shadows at these back alley meetings. You've seen them perform at the Eclectic Café and at other venues around the Island. But the time has come for all of them to be heard… the ones who show up regularly… the usual suspects…
